Zeke Smith is a drifter haunted by his past.

Once a feared bounty hunter and lawman, he now roams the West in search of peace—and redemption. But destiny has little mercy, and it’s not long before the ghosts of yesterday and new enemies come riding hard on his trail.
In every dusty town he passes through, Zeke lends a hand to those in need. When he arrives in the seemingly quiet Arizona town of Pleasant Grove, he finds anything but peace. The local marshal and his brutal deputies rule with fear, extorting farmers and terrorizing townsfolk.
Hired as a ranch hand by widow Rebecca Stevens, her young son Willie, and her tough-minded mother-in-law, Zeke senses something darker at work. Mysterious deaths have plagued the region—including the suspicious demise of Rebecca’s husband. The ex-lawman suspects the corrupt marshal is behind it all.
As danger closes in, Zeke is forced to confront not only the violence around him—but the demons within. Can he bring justice to Pleasant Grove before the bullets fly? And will he ever outrun the shadows of his own past?

Ride alongside Zeke Smith in this gripping Western tale of revenge, justice, and redemption.
