The journey towards psychological growth as humans and the journey towards unity with God are inseparable. Each leads inevitably to the other. Whether you believe your life is directed by God or is at the whim of fate, Personal Strength Spiritual Joy: Bridging Heaven and Earth will enrich your life. With wisdom, compassion and down-to-earth humor, Dr. Jan Harrell and Dr. Alan Robins will teach you how accepting your human limitations will transform your life and allow you to claim your true power in the world.

After helping thousands of clients in their private practice for the past 30 years, Al and Jan share their unique and insightful approach which provides a holistic view of faith at work in everyday life. Through personal stories and thoughtfully designed exercises and examples, this book offers concrete solutions and steps that demonstrate:

• How to identify the real source of your worry, anxiety, depression and fear
• How to triumph when life sends you challenges and hardships
• Why you may know something logically and yet act in nonlogical and self-defeating ways
• How to dispel the myth of perfection once and for all
• How to handle the real feelings behind judgment and criticism
• How to become aware of the strength and guidance already within you

Al Robins and Jan Harrell show you how to accept your vulnerability, act with faith, and reach for your full potential. And at the end of all your efforts, you may find that the bridge to your best self may also be the bridge to a greater connection with God.
