Luca Dal Monte: Born in Cremona in 1963, his books have been translated and read throughout the world. In its first Italian edition his book Ferrari Rex (2016) got the ""Selezione Bancarella Sport Prize"" and was a finalist for the “Motoring Book of the Year Award” promoted by the British Royal Automobile Club. The New York Times has recommended it as “the definitive biography of one of the giants of the automotive world”. He is the author of numerous and successful non-fiction works such as - for Giorgio Nada Editore - La Congiura degli Innocenti (2019) on the relationship between Bernie Ecclestone and Alfa Romeo in the 1970s, Formula 1 Portraits Gli anni Settanta (2024) and Lauda & Ferrari (2025). With regard to his fiction writing, he has published, again for Giorgio Nada Editore, some collection of short stories: Belli e dannati. Vivere e morire nella Formula 1 degli anni 70 (2021), Belli e dannati vol. 2 Erano giorni che tutti avevano vissuto (2022) and a novel, Le ragazze del muretto (2023). He was head of communications for Ferrari in the United States and Canada and for Maserati S.p.A Italia. He lives between Cremona, Milan and the United States.
