Both volumes in Fine, or better, condition. Each with tissue guarded B & W portrait frontispiece (Images 1 & 2). Sold as a pair. N.B. "Sonnets from the Portuguese", written ca. 1845–1846 and published first in 1850, is a collection of 44 love sonnets. The collection was acclaimed and popular during the poet's lifetime and it remains so.
