A very good early half calf binding. 12mo. 7.0" x 4.5" x 0.5". pp.21/[3pp]/pp.7-166 . Balck corners and spine over soiled marbled boards. Corners rounded and carefully strengthened at some time in the past. Smooth spine carefully re-backed preserving he original spine, dulled gilt title: "Chambers Poems". Later plain endpapers. Modern bookplate to verso of the front board: "Ex Libris S. F. Watson". Extravagant dedication to recto of frontis: "Presented To R. Spalding by R. Burrows March 24 1824". Engraved portrait frontis. Title -page lightly toned. Clear English text throughout on lightly toned paper, with a few small ink spots and other blemishes from previous use. G+. N° de réf. du vendeur 46109
