À propos des auteurs: Jean-Jacques Thomas is Professor of Romance Studies, Literature, and Linguistics at Duke University. He is the author of several books, including Jacques Roubad (1997) and La Langue Volée (1989).

Steven Winspur is Professor of French at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and is the author of Bernard Noël (1991) and Saint-John Perse and the Imaginary Reader (1988).
