Webber is the deputy director of the Energy Institute, the Josey Centennial Professor in Energy Resources, and professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Texas, Austin. He is also the host of the upcoming PBS Documentary Series, Power Trip, and the author of Thirst for Power. He lives in Austin, Texas.
