Clean and tight in original tan printed wrappers, ink annotation after author's name on front wrapper "Professor of Law, Tulane University Law School." Beutel obtained his Law degree from Harvard, then taught at Tulane and was appointed Dean of the LSU Law School in 1937. His specialty was commercial law and was interested in the"cross-pollination of the civil and common law traditions.".
