Six journals entitled 'Production and Engineering Bulletin' of approx 50 pages each with many B & W photos and illustrations. The dominant theme is how to get women to replace men in all fields of work. Journals in very good condition considering age. Minor external wear but internally no markings and fairly high quality paper was used. No oil etc. stains. Production and Engineering Bulletins: Vol.2, No.1, October 1942; Vol.2, No.3, December 1943; Vol.2, No.5, March 1943; Vol.3, No.14, January 1944; Vol.3, No.24, November 1944; Vol.4, No.37, February 1946. Engineering Bulletin, 3 issues, same condition as above, approx. 25 pages each, many b & w photos and illustrations, Nos. 14, 15, & 16, July, August & Sept. 1942. Toby's Books are mainly new or minor shelf wear review copies or new books purchased which (in spite of original optimism) have not been read. Some of the review copies are first edition hard cover and are now difficult to obtain as the bulk of these were sold to libraries. Some books were purchased second hand, some as ex-library stock, but most were purchased second hand with minimal wear and are in surprisingly good condition in spite of twenty or so years on a shelf. Some of my books are only available in the North America - where they were bought on visits to Detroit, Washington, and New York. There is always an element of the subjective in assessments of condition. However, very effort has been made to ensure that the description errs towards the negative rather than the positive. I am able to send photos of any book or journal you may be interested in, as well as other detail. On shipping, I use Abe's default charges which are the lowest. I do not attempt to make a profit on shipping, in fact shipping is often at a loss. Where shipping is considerably above Abe's standard price, my policy is to go halves with the purchaser on the difference. Although Abe gives standard shipping times, please be aware that books to the Southern hemisphere tend to arrive very close to the limit if sent surface.
