À propos des auteurs: Jim Cohoon is a professor of computer science at the University of Virginia and former member of the technical staff of Bell Laboratories AT&T. Among his research interested include algorithms, computer-aided design, the optimization strategies, and teaching in computer science. He is the author of more than 75 articles and books in these fields.

Jack Davidson is a professor of computer science at the University of Virginia. Among his research interests include compilers, the architecture of compilers, the systems software and teaching in computer science. He is the author of more than 100 articles in these fields.
