A propos de cet article

Modern quarter brown morocco, gilt lettered spine title, marbled paper over boards. Original endpapers retained. Folding chart frontis [short, closed blank margin tear without loss]. 202pp. Volume II begins at page [89]: HARDEE'S TACTICS. VOL. II. SCHOOL OF THE BATTALION. Light to moderate scattered foxing. Text illustrations. Table of Contents begins at page [197]. Two volumes in one, paginated consecutively. Good plus. The book was printed in a number of locations, North and South, in 1861. The edition has been revised in this manner to subserve the pressing demand of a great exigency, and gives all the drill information imperatively necessary for soldier and officer." Parrish & Willingham 4864. Crandall 2433. Confederate Hundred 40 [note]. Not in Allen.…
