Despite limited information available about his life today, it is known that Manmathanath Dutt attained MA and MRAS education. He served as the Rector of Keshav Academy in Kolkata for an extended period. Between 1895 and 1905, he held the position of Rector at Shrirampur College. Widely regarded as India's foremost translator, he rendered the Mahabharata into three volumes and the Ramayana into five volumes. Additionally, he translated Sayana's commentary on the Rigveda and various other texts, including the Markandeya Purana, Vishnu Purana, Garuda Purana, Bhagavatam, Mahanirvana Tantra, Manu Smriti, Harivamsham, Parashara Samhita, Gautam Samhita, and Kamandakiya Nitisara. Manmathanath Dutt also contributed to the literary landscape by publishing a monthly magazine titled 'Wealth of India.' If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. We give extra discount for the bulk purchase orders. Our prices includes shipping charges. The customer do not have to pay any extra charges at the time of delivery but if your Country charges VAT and customs that has to be born by the customer.
