This is a very attractive Black Leather hard back Civil War book. (Collector's Library of the Civil War ). The condition is Very Good++, no jacket issued. Facsimile from the 1866 first edition. This book has a very bright and very clean (Just a touch of soiling on corner of cover) embossed cover, with marbled inside papers, and an attached ribbon. The book is solid, tight and unmarked. Very nice edges, spine ends and corners. The pages are tight, bright and unmarked. There is a special book plate by the publisher on the inside cover with p/o name. The gilt page ends are very bright and attractive with only a few very, very tiny scratch lines. Book note paper included. Very solid & Attractive Book ! 480 pages. #16786-1223.
