A story or two for each highlights the service for which they are known or what they have come to represent in the way of help for believers. Rounding out each one's first-person account is a block of text set off from the rest. This is apart from the saint's own telling and is rather something related to the saint's story: some lesson to derive that is both of historical and spiritual importance.
