À propos de l?auteur: Kay Smith is the wife of Pastor Chuck Smith, the founding pastor of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Chuck and Kay were married for 66 years, when Pastor Chuck went home to be with the Lord October 3, 2013. Kay has taught Bible studies to women at Calvary Chapel for over three decades, starting the Joyful Life Bible studies for women, in which her daughter, Cheryl Brodersen, now continues to faithfully teach. Her influence has reached far beyond Calvary, touching the lives of countless women who have been inspired by both her example and godly exhortation. Kay has lovingly come alongside many pastors’ wives and women in ministry to be their companion and mentor. Her surprising honesty and her refusal to pretty-up her own humanity makes you trust her. She is someone who knows every pothole along our paths, who loves us enough to issue the travel warnings we need.
