Speckled page edges, blue endpapers. In very good condition. Some handling marks and minor fading to cloth on boards. Some rubbing to leather on edges and corners. Bookplate to front endpaper ?William B. Broadmead.? Dark foxing to blank prelims, some foxing to frontis plate., mild foxing to inside pages and plates, else plates clean and bright. Some minor staining to p1, small tear to corner of p3. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 119 + 24pp. Illustrated with 60 + 12 copper-engraved plates. (72).
