Light rubbing to extremities, lower-outside corner of front wrapper mended. Moderate toning to interior, light soiling to title page, a few smudges to inside of rear wrapper. $350. * Only edition. Dillon, a Lincoln's Inn barrister, published several works bearing on Catholic persecution. This one reports litigation preventing a Catholic peer from the right to free postage (franking), a privilege granted to peers in Parliament, who were then required to be members of the Church of England.
