A propos de cet article

. . . . Three titles, bound together. Fair condition: quarter-leather binding, front board detached; spine leather chipped, stained and worn, red leather spine title label, remarkably, still present. Scattered foxing to contents, no marking or writing. Binding still secure. A rebinding candidate, either separately, or together. All three titles quite interesting, paricularly, as regards the history of the State of Virginia: 'The Constitution of '76', which contains a closely reasoned exegesis with detailed reference to the State Constitution of 1776. The Staunton Convention of 1816 was the first formal effort from Virginia's western counties to exert more control over state political affairs. 197, 64, 75 pp. 19th, American, Century, Colonial, England, Federal, History, New, States, United, Virginia.

Description de la boutique

Tiber Books is an internet merchant with over 40 years of bookselling experience -- we've been offering our holdings online for nearly 28 years now. The majority of our inventory is scholarly non-fiction in both the sciences and the humanities, but we also carry an increasing selection of additional material in Americana, Art, History of Science and Technology, Regional U.S. History, Religion, and many other subjects. You can search our inventory by author and/or title. However, we also understand the need to browse by subject matter, and therefore make extensive use of Keywords in listing each of our books. You should have good results if you experiment with Keyword searches of our inventory. We also include a book's ISBN (if it has one), so if you'd like to search by ISBN, please use ABE's Advanced Search menu -- omit the dashes from the number when searching by ISBN. Enjoy browsing!…
