A propos de cet article

This is an about very good softcover copy with light cover wear, spine tips worn. Completely clean. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Miami Dade Public Library from July 19 to September 15, 1985. Exhibition curator Gary Monroe also wrote the text for the catalog. Gleason Waite Romer (1887- 1971) photographed Greater Miami from 1924 to 1964 and his archive of 17,500 large format negatives and 5,000 vintage prints were purchased by the library in 1965. His subject was everything Miami from the outstanding architecture and public gardens to the flappers and socialites and politicians of the period. Illustrated in black & white + a few color post cards reproduced. Laid in is a Miami Public Library exhibition folded card invite and list of the 200 photographs in the exhibition. Also there is a typed price list from the Historical Association of Southern Florida for the photographs. 10" square, 127 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and shipped with tracking.…
