Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997) was a great and influential pop artist and was preoccupied during his final decade with two series, Nudes and Interiors. The Interiors, with the artist's usual dry wit, depict domestic interiors, sometimes decorated with the artist's own signature works. This monograph brings together all of Lichtenstein's Interiors paintings, prints and sculpture, along with source materials, drawings and studies, illuminating the evolution of his ideas. It also includes many key works from his earlier career.

À propos de l'auteur: ROBERT FITZPATRICK is Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago DOROTHY LICHTENSTEIN married Roy in 1968 and was actively involved in the artist's work until his death in 1997. She currently oversees the operations of the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation.
