Omar Khayyám (18 May 1048 - 4 December 1131) was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet. [Rendered into English Verse by Edward FitzGerald (31 March 1809 - 14 June 1883)]. Edited by George F. Maine with an Introduction by Laurence E. Housman. Illustrated by Robert Stewart Sherriffs (13 February 1906 - 26 December 1960).
