224 pp. Full deep blue leather with gilt decoration and lettering to boards and spine, within a blue slipcase; all edges gilt.Slipcase is faded in places and worn at extremities; however, otherwise all in near fine and condition, clean and bright. Illustrated with 11 colour plates and frontispiece by Robert Stewart Sherrif. Also included are a critical introduction by Lawrence Housman, biographies of Khayyam and Fitzgerald, and three different versions of the text from the first, second and fifth editions of the poem. 8vo.
