Thick 8vo, dark blue crushed levant morocco half-bound over boards, gilt ruled, marbled paper sides and endpapers, five raised bands, gilt title on spine with gilt decoration in five compartments, t.e.g. Clipping from early bookseller catalogue pasted on verso of ffep, contents of this volume in pencil on first blank. A compilation of 9 writings by John Ruskin plus two additional related works (by William E. A. Axon and Charles Eliot Norton), consisting of the 7 titles listed above corresponding to the following numbers (1)-(7), plus 4 others (8-11): (1) Manchester (1879), 22 pp., reprinted from vol. A Sammelband of writings all by or related to Ruskin, with several pieces rather scarce, in a very attractive binding. The contents are clean and fresh; scattered light rubbing the binding edges.
