The volume also includes a charming Christmas card from the author with a wood engraving of himself and horse inside.Illustrated with a monochrome frontispiece and 31 plates over 61 pages, collated complete.Aime Felix Tschiffely's bestselling account of his three year journey on horseback from Buenos Aires to Washington DC, a feat believed back then to be impossible. The journey was of particular note not only due to its ground breaking nature, but due to the choice of horse.
