A propos de cet article

Paged as i-xxiv, 27-400 pages. Hardcover. Blue cloth; slight soiling and staining to boards; slightly cocked spine mildly darkened; bright gilt stamping to spine and front board. Light toning to text block edges. Floral patterned endpapers toned; past owner's partially peeled award sticker affixed to front pastedown; British bookseller ticket "Geo. Slater . . . Sheffield" on rear pastedown. A few scattered foxing spots to interior leaves which are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. Still a handsome book.
