This is the story of the great

Saint Michael the Archangel

and his many wonderful deeds

in heaven and on earth,

for the Church,

for the saints,

and for us.

Saint Michael the Archangel Through the Ages is your child's complete guide to come to know St. Michael: who he is, his God-given mission, his role in salvation history, how he helped the saints throughout the life of the Church, and how he still serves us today!

With beautifully illustrated images and engaging storytelling, Fathers Peregrine Fletcher and Frederick Schmit, O.Praem., trace the story of St. Michael from his initial battle with Satan to his role in the second coming. Introduce your children to the saints as they read the twelve interwoven stories of saints and holy people who St. Michael helped directly--even giving one a poke on the head! These stories include well-loved figures like St. Joan of Arc, St. Patrick, and Constantine, as well as lesser-known holy people like Saint Lorenzo of Siponto and Blessed Alcuin of York.

In these pages, you'll also discover:

• Michael's active presence in the Old Testament
• The Prayer to St. Michael
• Michaelmas and different ways it is traditionally celebrated
• Michael's Sword--the seven special shrines of St. Michael
• Michael's role in the Second Coming

With Saint Michael the Archangel Through the Ages, your children will find a friend, and powerful intercessor, in St. Michael the Archangel.
