No longer do aspiring Web publishers have to have an extensive understanding of HTML, scripting languages, and CGI scripting. This book teaches the beginning Web page author just what he needs to know to get a Web page up in the shortest time possible, using the tools that come packaged on the book�s CD. It starts out introducing the reader to the included WYSIWYG tool (Netscape Composer), and moves into the steps necessary to design, create, and publish a page on the World Wide Web. The reader does not need to know anything about HTML. Ned Snell has been making technology make sense since 1986, when he began writing beginner's documentation for one of the world's largest software companies. After writing manuals and training materials for several major companies, he switched sides and became a computer journalist, serving as writer and eventually as an editor for two national magazines, Edge and Art & Design News.

A freelance writer since 1991, Snell has written 18 computer books (and co-authored four more) and hundreds of articles and served as Reviews Editor for Inside Technology Training magazine. Between books, Snell works as a professional actor in regional theater, commercials, and industrial films.
