This is a 1972 reprint. First published by Ernest Benn, London, in 1925. Lithographed in the USA by Noble Offset Printers. 12.5 x 9.5 inches. Bound in blue cloth hardboards, with blind-stamped design to the front board and gilt-stamped lettering to the spine. Unbumped spine head and tail, and with fairly sharp corners. Text block firmly bound in. With xvi and 51 numbered pages, followed by 70 numbered pages of duotone photo-plates featuring sculpture from Siam [present-day Myanmar]. Also with literature and abbreviations section, index and B&W map. Gentle page waviness. To the front pastedown is a neat and discreet ink stamp identifying the previous owner. Else an immensely clean interior. There is no dust jacket present. A Very Good Plus copy. 2 lbs. 8 oz. This copy from the personal library of theologian Dr. Robert R. Boehlke [1925-2011].
