A propos de cet article

The two Thomson classics bound in one volume, with this edition published during the height of romanticism. The Seasons and The Castle of Indolence, written by esteemed Scottish poet James Thomson, to which is prefixed The Life of the Author by his friend and fellow writer Patrick Murdoch. Printed by T. Davison in 1826, first published between 1726-1730 and 1748 respectively. In the publisher's original paper boards. Bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities, with small chips to head and tail of spine. Rubbing to joints and edges, with creases to spine and extremities. Slight spotting to end papers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and mostly clean, with a couple of spots to final leaves, and slight offsetting to frontispiece and vignette. Good.…
