Wayside Books LLC is owned by Dianne and Steven Cox, currently operating their online store in Southeast Kansas. We have honed our rare book skills at the Rare Book School at the University of Virginia and the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar. We sell modern first editions and collectible fiction, ephemera, children?s books and non-fiction books, with an emphasis on history, politics, social sciences and the arts.

Most books are mailed in cardboard boxes, with protection for the book and padding to avoid damage en route. Some paperback books shipped within the US may be mailed in bubble envelopes.

Shipping rates are based on average shipping rates for books between 1 and 2 pounds. Standard US shipping rates are based on USPS media mail rates and standard international shipments are sent via USPS First Class Package International Service. Most expedited shipments - both within the US and internationally - are sent via USPS Priority Mail.
