Cyborgs are enigmas. Living, yet not living. Living tissue over robotic functions. Almost indistinguishable from a human being. Supposedly without emotions or human desires. They follow orders without questions. Talon had a few problems following orders immediately. Silene does not fit those parameters. She was not a warrior and has no desire to give her life over and over again such as Talon did in the past. She has her own mind about he future.

À propos de l’auteur
Phillip Wright was raised in North Florida, South Georgia and Tennessee. His father was in the US Navy and his mother was a career telephone operator. Growing up, Phillip loved to read and write. He has always had a love of telling stories and putting his stories to paper. This work is his second published writing, except for one professional article. He has written many unpublished short stories which are being put together as a collection. One more book is planned for this series. Phillip lived in the area of Mayport Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, FL as a young boy. His family then moved to Cordele, GA, when his father retired from the US Navy. Following high school graduation in 1973, he joined the U.S. Air Force and remained on active duty until his retirement in 1994. He met his future wife on his first day at his first duty station, and Phillip and Marilyn were married in 1975. They are the parents of three adult children and have six grandchildren. Phillip holds a Masters of Arts degree in Public Administration from Webster University. In addition he holds a Master of Divinity degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, Northeast Campus, Schenectady, NY. While in the U.S. Air Force, they served at eight duty stations on three continents. Phillip and his family are well traveled. They made it a priority to meet people from different cultures, mainly through hosting foreign exchange students. Phillip served as a Special Agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations for most of his military career. Since his retirement in 1994, he has graduated from seminary and was the pastor of one church for five years. He has primarily worked as a contract investigator for the U.S. government. Phillip and Marilyn both continue to work full time. Phillip and Marilyn have always been active in churches in the various locations where they have lived. They have lived in New York, Alaska, Illinois, California, South Korea and Germany. He has also served shorter periods in Arizona, Nevada, Japan, Okinawa and Turkey. Phillip and Marilyn live and work in central upstate New York.
