Keith Getty is a Grammy-nominated songwriter and author. Together with his wife, Kristyn, he cofounded the Getty Music organization to equip believers with hymns to carry for a lifetime. As the cowriter of many of today's most-sung hymns--including "In Christ Alone"--he became the first church musician of the modern era to receive the OBE from Queen Elizabeth II for services to music and hymn writing. He is also the coauthor of Sing! How Worship Transforms Your Life, Family, and Church and leads the annual Sing! Conference, which gathers pastors, musicians, and church leaders from around the world. Originally from Northern Ireland, the Gettys now live in Nashville, Tennessee, with their four daughters.
Kristyn Getty is an author and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter. Her voice is synonymous with hymns, having founded, along with her husband, Keith, the Getty Music Organization, which helps people learn the Bible through hymns to carry for life. She is particularly passionate about helping children and families learn their faith through song. Kristyn is the author of Sing! How Worship Transforms Your Life, Family, and Church. The Gettys are originally from Northern Ireland and now live in Nashville, Tennessee, with their four daughters.
John Martin is senior creative advisor at Getty Music and has spent more than twenty years leading and supporting music ministry in the local church. A veteran of the music industry, he brings extensive creative and pastoral experience to initiatives that promote Christ-exalting, gospel-centered congregational worship. John and his wife, Lisa, live in Los Angeles with their three children.
Dan Kreider is a music minister and hymnal engraver. He loves to serve the church by providing beautiful, timeless resources for musicians. Dan and his wife live in south Florida with their seven children.
Douglas Sean O'Donnell (PhD, University of Aberdeen) is the senior vice president of Bible and church resources editorial at Crossway and is a member of the ESV Translation Oversight Committee and a Senior Fellow of the Center for Pastor Theologians. He has written over twenty books, including commentaries, Bible studies, devotionals, and a children's curriculum. In addition to his writing, he contributes editorially to several major commentary series, including Crossway's Commentary on the Greek New Testament, the Concise Bible Commentary, the Conversational Commentary, and the Reformed Exegetical Theological Commentary on Scripture. He is the general editor of the Knowing the Bible series and the liturgies and Scripture editor of The Sing! Hymnal.
