A propos de cet article

Description :

The newspaper edition of this conspiratorial work alleging Roosevelt's foreknowlege and approval of the attack on Pearl Harbor in order to gain the support of the American people for the U.S.'s entry into the war. The author based his claim on his uncle's involvement in the attack. Gerald Mason Van Dyke was an Army Intelligence officer who allegedly sent communications to Washington, D. C. on Dec. 4th warning the Roosevelt administration of a planned attack by the Japanese. According to Van Dyke, Roosevelt placed Rear Admiral, Paulus Prince Powell, Secretary of the Navy, Frank Knox, and Undersecretary for the Navy, James Forrestal, under armed Marine guard to prevent them from organizing a defense. Van Dyke concludes by warning, "Every phase of deception and maneuvering which was used by the US government in order to engineer and guarantee the Japanese 'surprise' attack on Pearl Harbor is still being used in full force by the government today. Present national and international events make this crystal clear. Observe the actions of the president, and the content and control of the United Nations Charter." Van Dyke's story was originally published as a short book in 1973 and was republished in this newspaper format two years later. He claimed to be the author of the just-as-conspiratorial work, Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars, a top secret manual that outlines a plan to control the masses through manipulation of industry, education and politics, and to divert the public's attention from what is really going on. He later published My Commercial Law Manual and How to Create Currencies for Local Communities. In 2003, Van Dyke and an accomplice were sentended to federal prison for attempting to pass $3 million in counterfeit bills (some to the IRS to pay back taxes), which Van Dyke called Public Wealth Tax Rebate Notes. Tabloid format printed in color on newsprint, 16 p., photograph. Uncommon in the trade in any format. Less than a dozen copies of any edition in WorldCat. N° de réf. du vendeur 13454
