Discover a network of over 9,000 walking routes connecting all of Britain’s towns, cities and national landscapes. This bright and beautiful new collection of maps shows every Slow Way route in Great Britain, which between them join up 2500 settlements via 130,000km of existing paths, lanes and trails.
Use the pocket atlas to dream of journeys. Colour in where you’ve been or where you’d like to go. This pocket atlas has been made thanks to thousands of people. Contributors have volunteered hundreds of thousands of hours plotting, walking, wheeling, testing and reviewing the routes.
In this atlas you can find out more about the Slow Ways movement, how it is changing what we think is possible, and creating a network of connection and joy!

À propos de l’auteur
Slow Ways CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. We exist to create a national walking and wheeling network for the whole of Great Britain.
Starting with towns, cities and national landscapes, we have plans to connect every village and neighbourhood across Britain and Ireland.
That's a big job, so thankfully thousands of people are involved in the initiative, all walking, wheeling, checking and reviewing routes so that more people can feel confident to follow in their footsteps.
So far over 9,000 routes stretching for 140,000km (87,000 miles) have been added to the Slow Ways network.
We are delighted that you are exploring this atlas.
Consider it an invitation to join in.
Urban Good CIC is dedicated to making cities and towns better places to live, so connecting them with a novel network of routes piqued our curiosity. We are proud to have been part of the Slow Ways journey from the start. We write, design and publish - and we have a deep love for print.
Founded by Charlie Peel in 2016, our maps help residents and visitors explore and understand more about their place in the world. www.urbangood.org
