CONDITION: Very Good Plus in Good jacket; neat gift inscription 1962, tight, clean, straight, paste-on plate clean and perfect; bump at foot of spine, title page corner lightly wrinkled,all other pages nice, in clipped edgeworn jacket with damage to spine ends to 2", 3/4" chip on back, light partial cup ring on "Snipp". Picture Book hardback. The three boys and their parents went to the far north on a skiing vacation and visited a Laplander family with a boy their age, Matti, and his dog Sampo. On their last night a storm came up as they were skiing home, and Matti and Sampo rescued them. As usual, these young children have a great deal of responsibility and handle it very well.
