Social skills are more important than ever in todays growing economy. Social: The Power of Relationships provides a deep insight on building your social skills so you can find more success at home, school, and work.
À propos de l?auteur: Jason was born in San Joaquin California in 1986 to Jerry and Lynette Rogers. He was their 2nd child of 7 kids. Jerry worked as a computer repair and IT trainer. Jason was homeschooled for a large portion of his childhood. Lynette wanted to provide a better experience for her children than what she experience in school. They moved around the country for Jerry’s work and Jason spent most of his childhood playing in the back woods of Virginia. As a child Jason was shy and awkward. He had a hard time connecting with the other kids. In Boy Scouts he was often left out or picked last for many of the activities. Instead of letting this deter him from making friends Jason became determined to learn what it took to be social. When he finished high school he volunteered for his faith and served a two year proselyting mission. Through this experience he came to understand the first steps to being social. It was the questions you ask yourself. Instead of asking “How do I become more social?’ It was better to ask “How do I share my value in an inspirational way?” He attended the LDS Business College and while he was there he joined an improv group called Play Theary. It was because of this group and other groups at the College he grew to understand what it meant to be social. To apply all that he had learned in a way that would test the limits of his social skills he decided to backpack around the world with less than $3,000. He left November 2014 and traveled for 9 months. When he returned late 2015 he devoted that next year to write all that he knew about what it took to be social. He named the book Social: The Power of Relationships. Now Jason travels the world to help others find their joys and develop their social skills.
