A propos de cet article

Sexton, a U.S. Army captain and scholar, examines America’s early 20th-century expansion with a focus on the Philippine-American War and its aftermath. His treatment mixes critical analysis and soldier’s perspective, with maps and period commentary that illuminate counterinsurgency, occupation policy, and the contradictions of "benevolent assimilation." A cornerstone title for Philippine-American War and U.S. imperial studies collections. No writing in the text, cover shows wear, bumps and some minor cloth separations. See photos for detail.
