This catalogue is published in conjunction with the 2019 exhibition La Source presented at the Villa Carmignac, Porquerolles, France. The exhibition draws its inspiration from the architecture of the Villa and the island. Two major axes of the collection are explored in a game of face-to-face: the female body and abstraction. Entirely made up of in situ photographs by Luc Boegly, the catalogue deploys a very immersive visual journey, punctuated by texts by unpublished artists. In the middle of the book, nine poems from Roy Lichtenstein's youth offer the reader a new and essential approach to the artist. Text is in French and English.
