Item description from seller

Five volume set, overall in good condition.  Half-bound leather covers with marbled papers over boards.  Leather on all volumes is worn and has some loss.  The spines of volumes III and IV are particularly worn and faded.  Edges of paper covering boards on all volumes also has some loss.  Volume V has a torn area at the bottom of the spine. Some of the volumes have damage to the paper covering the board on the front and/or the back. Internally, all books appear to be sound, with tight binding, no broken hinges, and clean, bright text and pages.  Areas of significant damage have been included in the pictures. Edited by Colonel William Wood, this five volume set relates the history of the Canadian province of Quebec.  Colonel William Charles Henry Wood (1864-1947) was a Canadian historian and naturalist born in Quebec City.  From 1887 until the end of the First World War he served with the Royal Rifles of Canada.
