A propos de cet article

1919. No edition remarks. 191 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with yellow lettering to spine and blind-stamping to front board. Black and white photographic plates, all present, and black and white portrait frontispiece. Introduction by Henry Smith. Final chapter by F J Dymond. Pages with some foxing and variable tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Some cracking to gutters with exposed binding. Binding slightly loose. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper and a minor pencil inscription. Some page corners folded. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned. Some additional mild marks and liquid stains. Boards are slightly bowed. Textblock protrudes slightly from between boards due to the slightly loose binding. Spine is notably concave.
