“The book of Revelation opens to the world what has been, what is, and what is to come; it is for our instruction upon whom the ends of the world are come. It should be studied with reverential awe. We are privileged in knowing what is for our learning.” (Ellen G. White, Review and Herald, August 31, 1897.)
“In the Revelation all the books of the Bible meet and end. Here is the complement of the book of Daniel. One is a prophecy; the other a revelation.“ (Ellen G. White, The Acts of the Apostles, p. 585.)
Stephen Haskell was deeply involved in the mission of the Adventist movement. Having served in the capacities of administrator, author and evangelist, Haskell also contributed to the inauguration of the first distribution plan for missionary tracts and books in 1869. This is perhaps the achievement for which he is best known because of its far-reaching results. He also participated in the development of Adventist education in several of our schools: Battle Creek, Healdsburg, South Lancaster, Avondale and also in the Madison School.
