Students and Instructors Compete on the National Stage!

 

BizBuilder/NFTE and Pearson/Prentice-Hall are jointly sponsoring a national competition that rewards the best business plan author and his or her instructor. The competition is open to students enrolled in an entrepreneurship or small business management course at any school using this book. 10 plans will be chosen to be recognized as outstanding plans and two plans will be chosen as the best overall business plans.

 

The authors of the top 10 business plans and their instructors will each receive the following recognition:

• acknowledgement on the NFTE Web site and Pearson Prentice-Hall book Web site

 

The authors of the top 2 plans and their instructors will each additionally receive an award of $500.00 and feedback from a venture capital firm regarding the viability of their plan.

 

The winners will be announced on July 1st of each year over three years, for submittals made during the prior school year. The first award will be made on July 1st, 2007, following the 2006/2007 school year.
