Hardcover. The largest collection of the popular artist's drawings ever assembled. With over 200 sketches this comprehensive book invites you into the mind of this international artist. Collected in this rare tome are over 200 drawings reproduced from the artist's archives showcasing his creative process. The beautiful reproductions are captured in his 'old school,' pencil-to-paper fluid style. Barr's energetic loose line dances on the page. His pencil strokes evoke a playfulness and ease, yet reveal a honed mastery of storytelling. 'I love drawing and capturing that initial spark. That first crude concept of formulating an idea and having your hand deliver it to paper. Out of this 'stream of consciousness' of flowing ideas I find it usually leads to bigger themes and concepts for paintings, which most of the drawings in this book became.' - Glenn Barr Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.
