À propos de l?auteur: William Sanday (1843-1920) was named Dean Ireland's Professor of Exegesis at Oxford in 1884. By 1895 he was Lady Margaret's Professor of Divinity and became Chair of the Synoptics Seminar. The author of many books, including the seminal commentary on Romans, Sanday was truly one of the giants of twentieth century British biblical scholarship.
