The City, surrounded by gently-sloping hills and watered by the Kamo river and other rivers, is rich in seasonal changes in scenery- cherry flowers in spring and tree leaves turning crimson in autumn - and this attracts many visitors to it. the editor hopes that you will visit Kyoto some day with this special issue in hand.
