Ha Ha the Hyena: Now That's Funny! is a playful and heartwarming picture book about friendship, laughter, and the surprising ways joy finds its way back when we need it most.

Every morning after breakfast, Ha Ha the Hyena trots into the backyard-tail wagging, tongue out, and already laughing. Ha Ha laughs at everything. The porch steps. The garden hose. Even a beetle crawling backward. Most of all, he laughs with his best friend. Their days are full of giggles, silly discoveries, and the kind of laughter that makes everything feel a little brighter.

But one morning something strange happens. The laughter stops.

Ha Ha doesn't giggle, snort, or howl the way he always does. Determined to help his friend find his laugh again, a young boy decides to try something big. He builds a small stage in the forest and announces the Forest's Got Talent Show, inviting animals from all around to perform their funniest acts.

One by one the performers step forward. A turtle rolls in on skates. A bear dances in a tutu. A skunk attempts a magical trick. The forest fills with excitement as every animal does their best to make Ha Ha laugh again. Some acts are brave, some are silly, and some are wonderfully strange-but none of them quite bring back Ha Ha's famous giggle.

Then, when no one expects it, the moment finally arrives.

With warmth, humor, and a touch of wonderfully ridiculous timing, Ha Ha the Hyena: Now That's Funny! celebrates the joy of laughter, the creativity of friendship, and the idea that sometimes the silliest moments are the ones that bring us back together.

Beautifully illustrated and filled with charm, this extended picture book also includes bonus activity pages, coloring pages, and a maze so readers can continue the fun after the story ends.

Perfect for shared reading, classrooms, and families who enjoy stories that are both heartfelt and hilariously unexpected.
