Synopsis :
This applications-oriented book provides the background and framework for the design of a fully operational telecommunications transmission system. It employs a "total systems" approach that examines various telecommunications disciplines not in isolation, but as part of a larger system. This new edition is fully updated and includes new coverage of cellular and wireless communications systems, cable television, and low earth orbiting satellites. It provides a non-calculus based reference to telecommunications transmission technology.
