Paperback. Thaeshian Shadows: the Adventure of Skuggi Umbrax Skuggi Umbrax, of The Skip, Ornoi. The great Long-Arc that carries Thaeshia. The Wheel turns, and a storm rises in its wake. Aboard the Skip, a self-sustaining world adrift in the cosmic currents, Skuggi Umbrax walks the path of knowledge and sacrifice. He is not a warlord, nor a conqueror, but something far more dangerous-a man willing to understand, no matter the cost. His journey begins not with battle, but with a question-one that will unravel the delicate balance of Thaesha's most sacred truths. When a void anomaly disturbs the Skip's great lake, the call goes out for the brightest mind in bio-harmonics. That call summons Freyka, Voelva of the Greenhand, a botanist and harmonic engineer whose mastery of resonance and light makes her the only one capable of stabilizing the ship's delicate equilibrium. Their fated meeting is not one of grand words or hesitation-duty calls, and they answer. As Skuggi and Freyka race to counter the void entity's corruption, the battle above the Great Lake reveals more than an external threat-it exposes a deeper mystery buried within the Skip itself. Skuggi's pursuit of truth leads him to the Arcanum, where forgotten texts speak of the Wheel's construction, the price of power, and the warnings left behind by those who came before. But some truths were never meant to be uncovered. Beyond the limits of Thaesha's knowledge, the Void waits. It does not trade. It does not yield. And it will consume all that stands before it. A Story of Power, Knowledge, and the Price of Truth Skuggi Umbrax, of Thaesha is not a tale of war, but of wisdom and sacrifice-of a man who seeks knowledge not to rule, but to ensure the Wheel continues to turn. The Wheel as a Cosmic Law - Power is not taken; it is traded. Knowledge is not given; it is earned. The Harmonic Civilization of Thaesha - A people who shape reality through resonance, light, and sound. The Cost of Understanding - Some doors, once opened, can never be closed. The Encroaching Void - A force beyond comprehension, waiting for a single flaw to unravel existence. For those who seek intelligent, immersive science fiction infused with mystery, philosophy, and the unrelenting pursuit of truth, Skuggi Umbrax, of Thaesha offers a vision of a civilization standing at the edge of revelation-or annihilation.
