À propos de l?auteur: Aleesah grew up in the country and had a lot of freedom as a nine-year-old. Her older brother, her cousin and she would ride their bikes and go exploring, build cubbyhouses and billycarts, and rescue injured animals and birds. When she wasn't outdoors, she was usually curled up on her bed reading. It was quite an addiction for her and she often got into trouble for 'having her nose in a book'. She loved colouring in and won loads of prizes for her efforts. Quite shockingly, she also loved school!She wrote stacks of stories and illustrated them with crazy stick figures. Like Perse, she kept a diary. And she can always remember desperately wishing she had an identical twin.
