Jimmy Frost first entered the record books in 1972 when he became the youngest jockey ever to ride a point-to-point winner, aged just 13. Devon born and bred, he has become the endearingly popular face of West Country racing, scaling the heights of the 1989 Grand National with Little Polveir, and Cheltenham Festival glory, and endured the subsequent confidence shattering fate losing the big rides. This is a frank account of an extraordinary upbringing, his reign as the gymkhana king, his domination of the point-to-point scene and his voyage of self discovery in New Zealand. His story is also an amusing account of the highs and lows of being a farmer.
